Often the sharpest tool in the box is the problem. Or so I keep telling myself.
In this video I go off on-one about the wonders of the blunt chisel and some of its benefits.
A boring old tool like, but once you’ve had a feel it’ll become a fundamental tool.
Once you’ve got the gist of it I nip through a couple of options for setting one of these up. I’ve loads more applications and tool sets ups that work around this set up.
I’ll do a follow up once you’ve all recovered.

Great to see you back! I learned the blunt chisel technique from Bill and it’s brilliant. I can’t wait for the new course, it’s been way too long. Yours are my favourite woodworking videos, I love the way you work, learn something new in every video. Thanks
As always, clear and worthwhile.
Thanks
Nice. You briefly touched on this in the sharpening series. It is nice to see a long-form version of that.
