I want to ask how on Earth it’s Christmas already?
But I recon you’ve probably heard that at least three times this week.
I’m not ready yet, never am. But I kind of like it that way.
Uncertainty seems to keep more of that child-like magic than having everything all in hand. (or I just never got the gist of being organised).
Whatever you have planned over the holidays, we’d like to wish you a wonderful time.
Don’t be flapping about too much to enjoy it. It’s very close now so I hope you’re winding down and perhaps even relishing in the preparations.

And if you’re busy still at work then maybe you’ll hum a few festive tunes to yourself as I am, while I potter away with our edits.
Our sideboard video series is very much underway, and will continue to run over the break.
Chapter one is already available and Chapter Two will be up this coming Friday (27th).
If you haven’t watched the intro yet then you can find it along with all the details here.

So here’s wishing you the very best for the holidays and the New Year, and sending a huge thanks for all of your support through 2019!
That comes from both Richard and I 🙂
I too would like to send a Very Merry Christmas ton all of you and a hardy thanks for the advise that you have provide through out the year.
Organised? No way. Still making gifts in the workshop! .
Should finish my English Workbench over the festive period as wee pressie to myself. 😀
Merry Christmas to you both. Thanks for the quality vids and guidance
A very merry Christmas to you two as well! Thank you for sharing so much wit and wisdom with all of us throughout the year.
Merry Christmas too you.
A very Merry Christmas from Iowa, and best wishes for a Great and Happy New Year.
Best regards,
Dick
And a happy new year! Since I’m mid-moving house and shop, I’ll be content with tea, cakes, and re-binging all your videos. May you both be well through the year.
Have a great Christmas guys and a Happy New Year too. Really looking forward to tackling the sideboard.
Barry
Merry Christmas from Southern Connecticut, USA. Best wishes to you, Richard and your family.
I meant to respond on the day you posted this blog Helen but I was too busy with last minute preparations. I hope you and Richard had a great Christmas.
4 years ago to the day you posted this blog Richard was at my old place installing the remarkable bench he had made for me. It looked all pristine and more like an upmarket piece of furniture when installed but it didn’t take too long before blood was spilt on it and it now has a number of dings and scratches as all benches should have. Now installed in the purpose built workshop in our new place.
Enjoying watching the sideboard build.
Happy New Year to you both.
